This grove of trees, utilizing locally collected wood, represents a site of nutrient deficiency, the trees being leafless and emerging from the sand. The elements of my body embedded within the trees attempt to lend the hard exterior of the trees as a source of protection that show specific areas of access to my body. The patches of scoby mend me and the trees as one figure, working collectively to thrive in the site of nutrient deficiency.
